A local favorite for craft beer and fresh seafood with a lively outdoor patio. Also located just a short walk away from our venue, its the sister restaurant on Mavericks House, so you may recognize some beers on tap at our wedding :)
The Barn
If you're looking for the ultimate "coastal cool" lunch spot, The Barn is a local treasure we can't recommend enough. We actually first discovered this gem on an episode of KQED's Check, Please! Bay Area, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.
Located right off Highway 1 in a rustic, repurposed barn, it captures the laid-back spirit of Half Moon Bay perfectly. It's the kind of place where you order at the window, grab a picnic table in the sunny beer garden, and truly relax.
Barbara's Fishtrap
A block away is a local's favorite Barbara's Fishtrap. This charming seafood eatery, has a laid back vibe and unforgettable fresh seafood. Dine-in or take out for a memorable picnic or an amazing sunset on the beach.
Taco Bell Cantina
On your drive down from SF, why not stop at the world's most beautiful Taco Bell. Don't believe us - you should go. Katie recommends the Mexican Pizza.
It even has cocktails and their own beer and wine (and normal beer and wine). What more could you ask for!?
